Hey guys, I'm new here and am 4 days post- op. Had a bit of a set back in the hospital and it delayed me starting full liquids until today. Well, I was super pumped for my Protein Shake. The hospital gave me a sample of Unjury. I mixed it up per directions and sipped it slowly and thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate flavor. Well about twenty minutes after I had finished half of it...I had to bolt to the bathroom. This has been happening all day now. Is this cause for concern? They said because they do not provide any carbs? They want me to have 5 carbs per shake...which is hard to find in plant based protein. I think I really just need to call the doc tomorrow because I'm still having pretty awful issues today and have been on clear liquids since the incident yesterday. It's getting old quick.
