  2. I had a RNY in 2011 and went from 230 pounds to 160 in about 18 months and kept it at about 170 until in 2016 I was creeping up to 190 and so depressed. My RNY surgeon performed a Gastric band and it was initially a slow loss but I am now at about 130 pounds. I do intermittent fasting and work out a lot though. The PBing is something you have got to get used - for me it is almost daily - to and it really is impossible to eat a lot which can be hard to get used to.
