  1. No problem. I freaked out too! :mad2: It is nice to have people to talk to about these things.
  2. No worries! My port has moved a lot. I am almost a year out and the port is now about 3 inches above my incision. It moves as your body heals and changes.

  4. Hello All, Now that I am able to close out my Lane Bryant credit card my new favorite place to shop is Marshalls. I use to love their clothes but could never find anything that would fit. Being 5'1 it was extra difficult since everything was not only too small but too long. I am proud to say I love Marshalls petite department. It is strange to admit I now have problems on the other end of the spectrum. A lot of the 6P are now too big and they do not carry to many 4P pants - but if that is my issue then I can definitely find a way to deal with it. Also, Old Navy sells petite in most of their pants online as well. I ordered 3 pairs of size 4 short or petite pants from them last night. Hope this can be helpful to any other shorties out there. Good Luck all - keep up the good work. Kim
  5. Hello Mass Bandsters! I have been stuck at the same weight for quite some time. Not going to complain since I am doing so well, however, last week I went on a cruise and lost 3 lbs!! Holy Crap! I am so excited! Don't know if I got stuck in a rut and needed to switch things up or what. I ate very well on the cruise just more then usual. So maybe that was the trick. Also exercised a lot ~ same as usual ~ but did different types. So if your stuck in a rut like I was try switching it up a bit. Hope all is well with everyone. Good Luck! I am 13lbs away from my final goal. Had a blast wearing all my new size 4 & 6 clothes on the cruise!!!!
  6. I am down 83 with 16 left to go! I just fit into a size six and just bought my first bikini for my cruise in 23 days. Thought another country would be a good place to try it out! I am also hoping to loose all my weight by my bandiversary. Keep up the good work everyone. I too just hit the "normal range!"
  7. Hello May Bandsters! I had my surgery May 5th and am down 67lbs!!!!!!! I could not be happier. Today I fit into size Medium gym clothes and a size 8 pair of jeans!!!!!! YES!~ Hope everyone is doing well!
  8. Is this Liz from Lahey? If so - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! If not - Congratulations to whom ever you might be! I too hit my 50 lbs this weekend! 20 pre op - 30 post op! GO US.
  9. Hi - I was banded May 5th and have had 3 fills thus far. I have a total of 1.8 in my 4cc band. My last fill was last Friday and I am finally feeling some restriction. No frothing or anything but when I eat I definitely feel full. I just ate 3 bites after my "full signal/burp" and am really feeling it now. This is good because it will help me to stop eating sooner.
  10. This is what I ate yesterday. The numbers are me counting the protein. Hope this is helpful. Monday: 70 BR –Activia 5 lf Cheese 8 Coffee L- 3oz chicken 21 1oz lf cheese 8 salad w/ lf dressing D – ½ c egg whites 12 1 oz lf cheese 8 1 oz chicken 7 salsa and lf Sour Cream 1 Exercise – 45 min Spin Class
  11. Hi - I was banded on May 5th and have lost steadily. However, the last two weeks I have not. Glad to hear this happens and can change. Hopefully quickly. Changing up my exercise (just started spinning agian and adding weight training!) and will try to change up the eating. Thanks for all of your feedback. It is always nice to know we are not alone. Thanks
  12. Hi - I just started dating someone new 2 weeks ago. I did not tell him right away but then I decided he can either like me for me or he can hit the road. Anyways, I told him and he was so nice and supportive! He said good for me for doing what I want. Plus is I am only going to look better that can't hurt either! Right? Good luck.
  13. I love the Simply Smart Milk. There is the Skim that tastes like 1% and the 2% that tastes like whole milk. It is less watery and has a higher protein count then other milks. Give this a try. Hopefully they sell it in your area. Good Luck
  14. I had my first glass of wine this weekend. OMG! I couldn't even drink the whole glass. I was wasted. So I now know a half a glass of wine is good for me!
  15. Hello Single Bandsters. Thanks for the advice about my upcoming date within the past week. I really appreciate it. Well I ended up going out for dinner last night and it went really well. I bit the bullet and told him and he was totally fine with it! So he understood why I ate 3 oz of chicken and was done. At least it takes a while to eat so they don't feel like they are eating all by them self. I was really happy about his reaction. He told me that it is great to do whatever makes me happy and I shouldn't care about what other people think. True! After thinking about it too - what guy is going to hate the fate that the person they are out with is just going to look even better! Sounds good to me. All in all we had a great time and have plans to go out again Sat! Ya! I did have 3/4 of a glass of wine last night after dinner and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I am a cheap date! How long after surgery did everyone wait to have a glass of wine? Glad to know that is all I need and do not plan on doing it all the time. Thanks, KIM
