So frustrating! I have to complete a 12 month program maintaining the weight I’m at. I have to be at a specific BMI at the time surgery approval is granted following the 12 months of weigh ins and classes. I have to keep this up till June!

I’m only in the beginning stages of my year long pre- surgery stage. I called my insurance company today (required by surgeons office) to discuss my coverage. A few things I learned is that they only cover one surgery per lifetime so I need to choose wisely which surgery to go with. They also told me that skin removal is not covered, period. Not even apron removal. What has everyone used to help with loose skin and elasticity issues? I know genetics plays a huge role here and I know I’ve been given a crap hand in that department so I’m looking for ideas I can start now to help my skin heal prior to surgery.
