Yes I had my surgery done on April 29th and I feel amazing. I had no complications and went back to work one week after. I've lost 22lbs since surgery and 38 since I begin the process in October. Make sure you follow all of your requirements and before you know it surgery day will arrive.
My advice to you is never measure your weight loss sucess or journey with those of others.

Call your insurance company and ask them all these questions. They will explain the entire process and you’ll know exactly what you will owe

Introducing myself: My name is Kassandra, I am 27 years young, I have 3 great kids (9 yr old & 5yr old little boys & a 2 year old little girl), a wonderful hubby, and 3 great cats. I'm a type 2 diabetic & have sleep apnea. I decided to do this to take my life back because I do NOT want my kids to lose me so young. I'm 5 ft 2 and 258 lbs. I was 293 last summer then I started to make small changes to get ready for surgery. I had planned for the sleeve but my insurance won't cover it right now so RNY it is!!!
