  1. I think a handful of us are up this week! I'm feeling good, only thing I'm anxious about is the nausea following anesthesia & the gas after surgery. In my mind I'm going to fine next weekend - sipping 2 oz of liquid per hour, but otherwise fine. How is everyone feeling?
  2. I've told a total of 4 people, one of which has had the surgery in the past. I confessed to that person my anxieties about letting anyone know just yet & oddly... I found their response to be less than helpful. I think I'll be happy to share my journey with people when I'm on my way to losing weight, but not today. And that's okay. I am feeling a little at lost though, not really knowing anyone going through the same thing at the moment.
  3. Mine is pretty easy. a week of no carbs (basically) and a day of liquid.
  4. I'm so glad I stumbled into this thread tonight. My surgery is in a week & the fear of not losing because of PCOS has been a huge weight on my mind. You're giving me hope!
  5. I'm southwest suburbs & I might be interested as well. Could use a local support group of some kind!
  6. I'm on May 23rd & I'm really worried about the gas pain. I feel like I can handle the pain from the incisions, but all the gas buildup in your chest sounds awful.
  7. Hi! I'm on May 23rd too!
  8. My doctor seems super liberal with coffee. I'm told sugar free syrups are okay, plain half & half is okay. I've seen comments about the caffeine being dehydrating so I'm slowly cutting back to decaf. We'll see.
