Unfortunately there's no liquid antibiotic that I can take for it. They switched the antibiotic to vancomycin which is a capsule and so much easier to take. Hi all...I had gastric bypass surgery on 4/22/19. Everything was going great up until this past Wednesday. Since then it's been non stop diarreah and nausea. I haven't really been able to eat or really drink anything but I'm trying to get as much Gatorade into me as I can. I finally got the lab tests back and I'm told I have a c diff infection. They gave me antibiotics which I'm having a very hard time taking them. I've crushed and cut in pieces and everytime I try and take them I end up gagging and bringing them back up. This is totally unbearable, I so want to feel normal again. Looking to see if anyone else has gone thru this and/or any suggestions on how to get these pills down. Thanks in advance.
