  1. Thanks everyone. Today has been a much better day. I realize I pushed way too far between meals yesterday (had to volunteer and go to my daughter’s softball game) so i i didn’t get home to have dinner until like 8:30. So that was definitely a contributing, in hindsight.

  3. Hi, Tomorrow is 2 weeks post-surgery. I’m on the puréed diet and... I’m struggling. I am REALLY hungry today. I keep reading about people who don’t crave things anymore or get full after a few bites. I’m just feel so unsatisfied, like I still have a bottomless stomach. I keep thinking about all the things I’ll never eat again. I knew what I was getting into, and I felt full and uninterested in food for the first week. It was great but today I’ve just felt so hungry and I’m scared that I’ve screwed up and stretched out my pouch already. I don’t know, is this at all normal to feel after surgery? Almost like a buyers remorse? Maybe today is just an off day?

  6. Hi, new member. Surgery was April 16, UT Davis Clinic in Houston. Recovery is going well so far. Just been staying on the pre-surgery protein shakes so far. Had three today which is the most I’ve eaten since the surgery. Did have some cream of potato soup (threw it in a blender we added some extra water) I feel like I’m drinking water too quickly but 1 oz every 15 minutes was too slow. Drinking the shakes slowly though - trying for 20-30 minutes per shake, though I instinctively want to drink faster.
