  1. Hey there... I am new to these forums. I just had my first informational meeting with my doctor today about the Lapband procedure. I am 5'1 1/2", 262 lbs, and 25 years old. I have been overweight my entire life and have tried everything to lose, but it has never worked. I finally decided it was time to do something about this. I have been reading the forums today and am so excited to hear about everyones success so far. This forum is really going to help me through the process. I have my first real session with the psychologist, dietician, and Dr. in one month to start the real evaluations. I hope this is my chance at leading a healthy and happier life. :tt1: Just thought I'd share :Dancing_wub: -J
