  1. Ninja, I was just agreeing on what I have been reading for the past several months as I was waiting for my banding.
  2. YOU GO GIRL! I hear' ya. What do you people expect? Lose all the weight in two days and everything would be fine. No that is not the purposed. This is a LIFESTYLE change. The band helps you makes changes it doesn't do it all for you.
  3. This might not be politically correct, but my advised is to tell those bitches goodbye. You don't need negative people in your life... I got banded in 6/11 and I am not looking back...this is a new beginning/journey for me. I am even going to get a tattoo to mark the occasion!
  4. With my pre-op testing, they found out that I lacked vitamin-D as well as a stomach virus/bacteria. They put me on some antibiotics. They kept my surgery date of 6/11 so all is good. Good Luck
  5. Hi Everyone, I have been reading the board for the past couple days. I think that everyone has a lot of GREAT advice to offer and I thank you for that. It is nice to be able to share our experiences as we go through the procedure. I have my surgery scheduled for 6/11. For example, I have read that getting the gas-x strips is a good idea. I would like to put together a list of items/things that I need to get pre and post surgery (this is the project manager in me). So, can you'all make suggestions and after I a compiled them, I will repost for others...unless there is something already. Thanks in advance for all of your help :smile2:
