  1. That's great! I totally wish I had done it sooner, too. Good luck and keep at it! I'm still in disbelief at how fast the year went...
  2. I agree, awesome decision for me, too!
  3. Cronometer is really good and so is Sparkpeople.
  4. That's wonderful!!!!! I hope you feel great and celebrate yourself!!!
  5. Hi Ya'll! Today is my one year surgery anniversary!! Just thought I'd pop in to see how everybody is doing.... I can't believe it's already been a year! It went by super fast. I'm so glad I did it and I'm almost to my goal weight.... Lots of love!!!
  6. Good to hear everybody's input on this. I'm 6 months post-op and my weight loss has jolted to a halt!!! I'm doing everything I can to make sure that I'm doing everything according to plan--- water, protein, food tracking, and exercise. Even though I know it's irrational to think that my weight loss is just going to stop completely at this point, I'm totally scared that I won't lose any more weight. Trusting the process and myself, but it's hard!!
  7. I'm so happy I found this discussion because I feel like I'm going through the same thing and worried that my gastric bypass isn't really working. My eating *is* restricted though I'm not suffering from nausea/vomiting/dumping, but I'm worried that I'm still getting too many calories every day. I've gone from 200 calories a day all the way up to almost 800! My nutritionist didn't give me a daily calorie range to shoot for--- she just told me 80 grams of protein, no more than about 30 grams of carbs a day (not counting the milk in protein shakes), and less than 5 grams of surgery per serving...... and I'm worried that I'm stretching my pouch!!!
  8. Hi Everybody, First of all, thanks so much for sharing so much good information and your experiences! I'm schedule for April 23rd Roux-en-Y and I'm still trying to prepare logistically. How long before you felt well enough to back to work? Especially a desk job? I'd love to hear your experience. Thanks! xo, Artsie
