  1. I'm having the same issue!
  2. My doctor had me on protein shakes and bars for at least 6 months.
  3. I am almost 18 months out. Barely had a period pre-op. I started my period the day after surgery and have been pretty regular up until this month. No period which kind of has me worried. Took 2 pregnancy tests which came up negative. I think PCOS is showing it's ugly head again.?
  4. I see a lot of posts on Instagram of people putting Jordan's Skinny Syrups in their coffee. Zero calories and zero sugar...lots of different flavors. Maybe try them? Not sure if you can have these syrups being one month post-op, but it's something to look forward to in the future to spice up decaf.
  5. I went back after 3 weeks. I have an office job. The Friday before I headed back to work, I experienced dumping with scrambled eggs. I was so scared to go back to work, but I ended up being fine.
  6. I can't find a good endo in my area and the Obgyn keeps saying it's because of the birth control I'm on. I just want to know if others with PCOS have had this issue post-op too and what they did about it.
  7. Any females here that had the sleeve done also have PCOS? What have your symptoms been like post-op? Did your menstrual cycle become regular? I ask because I'm almost 18 months post-op and my periods have been regular post-op up until this month. I'm about 16 days late from my projected period according the the app (Period Tracker) I've been using for years. Took 2 pregnancy tests within a week of each other and they are negative. Gained about 5-7lbs within the past 2 months. I'm afraid that PCOS is winning the war on my body again since I have not had a period yet this month.
  8. Nope. Haven't had any painful periods since I've been post-op. I take Tylenol now for any pain which is funny because it didn't work for me at all pre-op. Good luck!
  9. I'm so glad (not in a bad way) to see that other VSG patients have had dumping. I had it after eating scrambled eggs about 2 weeks after surgery or when I have too much sugar. I have a coworker who had bypass and we got into an argument because she believes VSG patients do not experience dumping...according to her research!
