  1. My band is coming out. My port incision has never healed. I had my surgery on March 8, 2008 and my incision is still draining. Body is rejecting port so says dr... My surgeon wants to either replace the port or do a VSG. I don't want anymore surgery. I am a self-pay who had surgery done in Mexico. I don't want to go back to Mexico but, it seems thats the only place I can afford at about 4000.00 including aifare.
  2. Does Dr. Barker treat Mexican Banded Patients?
  3. Does he see Mexican banded patients?
  4. Thanks for the encouragement. I will keep you posted. This board has helped me a lots.
  5. I agree with you. I see it as a life lesson too.
  6. My port is oozing pus. I was banded on 3-08-08. My port has been draining every since. The drainage was clear, then it was redish brown now it is lots of thick yellow pus. My surgeon only wants to take out the port and let the first inclision get well then wants to replace it. I am thinking let the whole thing go. Thank you for the luck I need it.
  7. My body is rejecting my port. I have been told by my surgeon and my PCP. Has anyone else had this problem.. I am being treated with pencillin but have been told it needs to come out. I am self pay.
