  1. I was sleeve on 3/26. On surgery day, I was 327.6. At home, I was at 333, which I understood was from the IV fluids. I was on Clear for a week and now I’m on full liquids until I follow up with my surgeon on 04/08, then I start my puréed phase. So far I loss 10 lbs and I’m disappointed with the weightloss. I admit I not the best at getting my water intake in I’m only taking 20+ oz never 64. On a typical day, I drink 2 premier protein, so I get 60 g of protein and for dinner it’s some sort of soup/broth. Sometimes I eat a SF jello or SF popsicle as a snack. I try walk atleast 5 miles throughout the day. Yet the scale isn’t moving below 316 now. I am not taking any medication now, I was on omeprazole but I don’t need it anymore. I also believe I have PCOS, which I know can affect weight loss. I’m honestly disappointed with my progress. ?
  2. I’m 6 days post op now was sleeved on 3/26, the first day are the hardest definitely what help is the gas x, walking walking even if it’s like 6-10 times around the house. I used a sippy cup or a coffee cup with lid to control my sips for water. Try vitamins zero , Powerade 0 or Gatorade 0, to make sure you get the electrolytes. Be careful with pain meds, cuz it can lead to constipation (like 5 days, ugh). Also if given PPI(for acid reflux) make sure to take it (cuz it helps along w gas x). It’ll get better soon. Just take care, rest, walk, sip on water/electrolytes. Good luck!
  3. After 1 wk post op, started my proteins and vitamins. I feel so much better. I’m still working on getting my water in. But that protein shake hit the spot. I wasn’t able to finish it all but it was still better than just clears liquids.
  4. I’m only 5 days post op and after the initial first days I don’t feel gassy/bloated anymore. I’m still bad at drinking my water and clears. But I’m trying to get better at drinking water. However, I noticed that every morning/evening I been experiencing acid reflux/GERD. The Dr. prescribed omeprazole for the acid reflux 2xday. That’s all the medication I’m taking however, I am wondering will my body adapt and so I no longer experience GERD or I officially have GERD and will have to take medication for it. ?
  5. Yes. I bought some, gas-x and also I’m taking Omeprazole for acid. It help a little. But I feel my stomach rumbling.
  6. My surgery was on the 26th of this month. I was discharge yesterday, but I’m feeling so gross, bloated/gassy. I can only handle water cuz I don’t want any broths. I try drink an 1 oz at least ever 30 of water but I still feel bloated. Im also walking as much as I can. But still feel bloated. Any advice?
  7. Thanks I’m 2 days post op but I feel like **** so gassy/bloated and only can handle water cuz broth are disgusting and make me feel more bloated
  8. How do you know when your full. How much protein are you supposed to consume. Also I’m supposed to drink 2 oz of water every 15 min? What about lunch, which is chicken broth and jello that’s provided by the Dr
  9. I’m just got out of surgery, 8 hours ago. The pain was unbearable, but pain medication help. I’m just been drinking water. I’m I supposed to drink protein because I have this 100% whey protein that I can add to my chicken broth.

  14. I know ?. Pretty dumb move especially so closed to the surgery. I been following the pre-op diet to a T and was able to lose 12 lbs.
  15. My surgery is on the 03/26/19, however I just drank Raspberry Ice Tea, not sugar free with 2 chicken, chips and guacamole. Is this considered cheating cuz I am now worry. I start my Full Clear Liquid Phase on Sunday through Monday. NPO on Tuesday. I’m worry that cheating will delay my surgery. ?
