I find that this to be the miracle powder. It dissolves quickly and I add a crystal light. Fantastic!!

I use Genepro, it has 30 g of protein in a pretty small scoop! I found it easier to get my protein in after surgery with this vs others with only 10g/scoop. ??

Five days into the pre-op liquid (-6lbs) and feeling a little better, headaches are easing up. Some of the comments are making me a little nervous. I am allowed a very small meal, once a day for the first seven days; which I do look forward to. I am dreading the last seven days of complete liquids, however; I think I'm in the zone now. Ten more days and I will be on the losers bench. Best wishes to all my fellow sleepers.

It is very interesting how different surgeons want their patients to pre-op. My pre-op diet is protein shakes, sugar-free clear liquids, sugar-free, Jell-O sugar-free popsicles –that’s it. I am on day three, it is easier than day one. I know I can do it, it’s mind over matter. This is a lifestyle change. If you can’t hang with the preop, how are you going to manage the post op. ?
