  1. I'm having my surgery at The University of Vermont Medical Center, and their program requires a full liquid diet for 2 weeks prior to surgery. I started it on March 12 and my surgery is on March 26th. I hope that helps.
  2. Hi nycvsg69, My surgery date is the day before yours. I know there are other March 27th people on here. I'm also feeling nervous and I'm sure it will only get worse as we get closer. I'm really excited too though. This is something that I've wanted for so long. You must be on your liquid diet too. How are you doing with it? The first couple of days were tough for me but I'm fine with it now. Take care.

  9. I'm scheduled for March 26th. I start the liquid diet on the 12th. I'm from Vermont. My surgery date is coming up quickly and I'm excited.
  10. Your surgeon will make sure that you meet all of your requirements before they submit your package to your insurance provider
  11. I'm sorry that people have been telling you horror stories. From what I understand from friends who have had gastric bypass, the first few weeks post op are hard and you may feel like you wish you didn't have the surgery. But those feelings pass as you feel better and see the progress. Then you're glad you did it and you feel more confident and motivated. I'm sure you're going to do great!

  13. My surgery date is March 26th. I had my pre-op on March 6. Everything is in order and I'm as ready as I'm going to be. I'm nervous but it's more excited than scared. I'm having the sleeve surgery. I live in Vermont. I have 2 adult children and 1 grandchild. I am very fortunate to have a supportive husband, children and 3 sisters. I think they're as excited as I am. My husband is nervous about the surgery but he is still supportive. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
