  1. I would really love to come, espically since the location is so good for me. Unfortunatly I have already planned to be in Florida for vacation that weekend.
  2. I was banded May 5, 2008 and am down about 80 pounds so far (over 1/2 way done!), it has been really great! I have not had any problems so far and go for my first fill Sept. 9th. The past month or so though I have been noticing that I am loosing hair by the handful. I mean it clogs the shower to were the water won't drain before I am even 1/2 done my shower. I get over 80 grams of protein almost every day, so I don't see how it can be from a lack of protein. Has anyone else had this problem, even though they are eating more then adequate protein? If so, what was the cause? Thanks!
  3. is this cookbook still happening? I would be interested in buying a copy.
  4. I used Dr. Abkin of Advanced Laproscopic in Florham Park - he has been really great so far!
  5. I know! I am feeling ok, but my energy is just zapped...glad to hear I am not the only one.
  6. I got my band on May 5th, I went back to work on May 12th and am very tired. I am having trouble getting my self to drink the protein drinks and eat (I guess you can call it eating) the full liquids. I am on them till the 22nd when I go to see the doctor. The only real pain I have is where the port is, it's kind of hard and swollen feeling, anyone else have that?
  7. I came on this website intending to ask this question, because I had my surgery on the 5th and have been having the same problem. Thanks so much for the info, it has put my mind at ease and makes waiting for the nurse to call back more tolerable!
