I got to come home today. I am having trouble getting all the required water down. I just don't want to drink it. The gas pains are gone. The gas was no where near as bad as I expected. I am having weird sensation in my stomach. I wouldn't really describe it as painful but it's like a deep growl, if that makes any sense. I have not thrown up but I do get a little nauseated when I take the pain meds. I get to add protein shakes next week and I'm happy about that. Overall this experience has went a lot better than I expected and I am so glad for that.Tomorrow is day 3 so I am sure the soreness may be worse tomorrow. Good luck to everyone!

I had surgery this morning. It went great. The gas pain is the worst. My biggest problem is that I’m coughing up some blood. The nurses think it’s from the intubation. Maybe something was knicked in the back of my throat. I have some small clots and when I cough one up it gags me. Praying it heals quick.

I am on day 5 of the liquid pre-op diet and I've only lost 4 pounds. I am jealous of your 9 and 11 pound weight loss. The liquid diet hasn't done anything for my bowels. I just had to take something for that but I have lots of issues in that department anyway. I am not discouraged. Everyone is different. We will get through this. I am so proud of all of us for making it this far. We can do this!!!

I am scheduled for March 13th and I am very nervous and still in shock. I saw my surgeon on Friday the 15th and was approved same day. Good luck to everyone!
