  1. I'm 12 days post Op and have lost 11bs...yay! Was hungry and bored after 4 days of liquid diet...craved more protein. Ate soups with pureed meat and felt significantly better. I seem to be able to eat anything comfortably, but force myself to slow down and actually enjoy it. I weigh EVERYTHING on my food scale and am very satisfied before I finish anything. The realization that 2-4oz of anything is enough to satisfy me is mindblowing! I feel super accomplished considering I used to eat a 3 scoop sundae, coke, chips, etc in 1 sitting. Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint and every good thing you do, in this moment, matters. You are loving YOU! And YOU are worth it! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I am 12 days post OP and able to chug quite a bit of liquid too. At first, I was scared that it would hurt something...but now I just feel blessed. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I took a laxative before surgery to ensure everything was cleaned out. I finally pooped 8 days post OP and it was after 2 days of taking MOM plus 2 dulcolax, but now I poop daily. Nurse Practitioner said it was probably due to me starting vitamins too soon. Hope this helps! You're certainly NOT alone! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app
