  1. On September 26 I had a lower body lift and breast reduction. I had my lapband 2 + years ago and have lost 120 lbs. The weight loss made my life so different but the final step in my journey has been overwhelming with emotion to see my body transform into a "new person". The actual surgery was 9 hours and has been a rough but is proving to be very rewarding. I could never have done this without the support of an outstanding surgeon who's main focus is WLS issues. His understanding of "our needs" and knowledge of plastic surgery has helped me feel secure in my decision to finish this journey to a new me. The only advise I have is that you are TOTALLY ready for the change, both physically and emotionally before taking the last step. Do your research and feel comfortable with your team of doctors. It has been a long 2.5 years and now I can say it is starting to be fun. Instead of redecorating my house I am redecorating ME. Best of luck to all!
