  1. I had a bout of the stomach flu last month and it was horrid. I can't throw up. I can heave my brains out, but like you, nothing actually comes up. I know it really sucks when you are so sick. Definitely call your doctor and see if he can't give you something.
  2. Miralax is amazing. I have used it several times and it has worked like a charm.
  3. I find that I can't do pasta much. It is bread, and it tends to swell up and expand, therefore not going thru my band easy. Plus, it is loaded with carbs.
  4. Yeah, I definitely will not be eating the SB meals in my freezer now. That is gross. I agree with Aveamora, get an attorney, show him the pictures and see what he says. ICK!!!
  5. I wasn't banded in TJ but I have heard pretty good things about it. I've heard people say that they felt really safe there. Good Luck in your journey??
  6. That's a good question. I mean, this takes a TON of will power, and you have surgery on your stomach, not your brain. I have also heard other people here say they attend OA, so it is definitely something to check into. I had thought about finding meetings near me, too, because as I said, this surgery is a tool, not a quick fix. If you find out anything let us know!
  7. Gosh, that is really bizarre!! I'd definitely head in to the Doc's office in the AM if it still bothers you. Let us know what happens, I hope it is something simple!!!!
  8. Don't give up! Keep working hard and you will succeed! :wink2:
  9. I agree, I am curious as well. If a Doc acted inappropriately, others need to know about it to aviod making the same mistake.
  10. Sassy, girl! What happened? Good for you for standing up for yourself, whatever it was!
  11. OK. I got home from work today and she was sitting on my fromt porch(she lives 2 blocks away). She wanted to talk, and I explained to her how hurt I am feeling, and she apologized. I still get the feeling that she just doesnt get it, and honestly things between us will never be the same. She kept saying "I don't know what to say except I'm sorry". So we really didin't get much of anywhere and I'm frustrated. At least I got to tell her how I feel, and that made me feel a little better. I appreciate all of the advice and support A LOT..... Ashlee
  12. Congrats, Jodi!! Where in VA are you? Who is your surgeon? I live in Charlottesville and was banded on 1/30 in Richmond by Dr. Matthew Brengman! Congrats again! Ashlee:thumbup:
  13. Thanks everyone. I have not talked to her yet, I think I still need a bit to mull things over. I am glad she was honest, but it still hurts, and I am angry...I just haven't decided what to do. Thanks for listening, I appreciate it! Ash
  14. THanks for the support, guys. I am hurt pretty badly. I think I am gonna see if she wants to talk about this. If she isn't wiling to get over this, then maybe it isn;t worth my time......
