    My dr and nurse have not mentioned anything about a liquid diet just yet. My VSG surgery is on the 24th and have meeting with surgeon on the 17th . Maybe it will be mentioned then?

    My Dr, adviser, and nutritionist warned that Carbonation is absolutely off limits for the rest of your life. The consequences can be really bad. Expanding your stomach, eating bad, etc. I would say stay away from it. Ps: Dr said no alcohol for rest of your life but I know that people here say it’s ok....
