  1. Yes!! I'm loving all these little victories ? I'm excited to see each new one unfold. This had been quite the journey!
  2. Thank you!! Oh yeah, the wedding ring is loose too... Not a bad problem to have!
  3. I'm a month and a half post op and have lost 45 lbs so far (since starting pre op diet). I've noticed a few unexpected things... All my clothes are longer, my eye glasses are loose now and my necklaces hang lower ? Has anyone else noticed this or any other unexpected results?
  4. Oh my goodness, you've been through a lot! I'm sorry to hear that but so glad they finally figured it out and you're on a recovery path. It's so easy to take our good health for granted until something like this happens! I hope months down the road the both of us will be much slimmer, feeling good and energetic and have all this behind us.
  5. I know! Everyone, including my care team, kept telling me that I was fine and probably just constipated ??I'm glad I trusted my gut (literally!) and went in. They have me on strong blood thinners and I seem to be improving now. It could have been a lot worse if I had waited going in.
  6. Well, as it turns out, I started feeling so ill, I landed in the ER and they found extensive blood clots in my abdominal veins ? That explains it!
  7. Yes, that is a possibility. Although, I had been sticking to the very low carb/no sugar pre op diet to a t so I feel like I would've already entered ketosis mode. Did you experience this?
  8. I felt pretty ok the first few days but the last couple days I've been waking up feeling super cruddy... Absolutely no energy, headachey and a little nauseous. I'm supposed to be walking every day but every time I stand up I feel like I'm going to pass out. I've been drinking 48-60 oz of water and getting about 55 grams of protein a day. At this point I may be regretting my decision to have the surgery. I didn't know I would feel this bad. Is this normal? Any advice?
