Had lapband surgery after years of being overweight, from day 1 not feeling well., over a year of problems ranging from pain, nauseau , vomiting, not losing weight, severe mal nutrition, hair loss, joint pain, cold / hot ,band too tight, port pain, panic attacks,I went to Beth Israel Hosp , met with bariactric Dr, was advised I needed immediate band removal, had surgery 2 weeks later to remove, band was in wrong position, port was flipped, and not where its suppose to be, once band was removed I had severe swelling, bruising, stomach was damaged, now recovering, i eat small portions, can not eat any meat without getting sick, constant nausea, something that was suppose to help lose weight has only robbed me of my health, the surgeons who removed the band said it will be a long road to recovery.
