  1. Well, I'm 3 days post-band. Feeling good - no gas pain - went to son's football game on Saturday and his baseball game that afternoon. Was definitely tired, but I think it helps to get up and get moving. I'm at work today and no problems so far. Don't get me wrong, I'm hurting, but it's a tolerable hurt. Like a good hurt after a workout (I think I remember what those felt like). Like this is the start of a new me. Oh yeah - I'm down 15 lbs from my May 2 band!!! I'm sure it's water weight, but hey - a pound is a pound.
  2. My surgery is Friday May 2nd also. GO SHRINKO DE MAYO!!!
  3. They say they just enjoyed food too much. I ate lunch with one the other day and he ordered three fajita tacos. It took over an hour for him to eat them - had to wait for them to "go down". I'm hoping I can encourage him to get back on track. They both were so excited and had good success at first. We'll see....
  4. I'm scheduled for Friday, May 2nd in Houston. I'm nervously excited - not about the surgery itself, but the possiblity of failure. I work with 3 people who have been banded - two unsuccessful and one very successful. I'm going to stick close to the successful one!!! :smile2:
