  1. Okay, I know we weigh in on Monday, but both yesterday and today I have weighed in at under 200. I'm so happy! When I weighed last Thursday before leaving for the treehouse, I weighed 200.5. I was soooo bummed on Monday when I weighed 202, but it must have been water! YAY!!!!
  2. deb, I think you and I should just sit on the end by ourselves. Cuz we're old losers. We're not up for all the shenanigans going on. We need our naps and such.
  3. ahhhh, good luck in the morning. let us know how it goes.
  4. Oh yeah. Exercise. I KNOW it would help speed up my weight loss but I have the hardest time sticking with it. I played DDR 4 times last week, then we went to our treehouse and the momentum is already gone. Sigh.
  5. I did the same day in/out as well, mainly due to other scheduling issues. It would have been nice to spend the night, but I just couldn't do it. I, too, spent a great deal of time in the airport. I love to read, though, so it didn't bother me much. But I am looking forward to having a fill locally.
  6. Well, creeping along at my usual snail-like pace, I weighed in at 202.2. Yes, I realize that 1 pound a week is just fine blah blah blah but DAMN I wish it was coming off a little faster!! But I'm getting another fill on the 5th, so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully things will speed up. Can't remember who all was talking about smoking, but I used Wellbutrin and was able to quit after 25 years. It made all the difference for me.
  7. well, I'm back and have been skimming the many many pages. So I'll just throw out a few things - dee, CONGRATULATIONS on passing the century mark. That is fabulous. Oh, and, Barry Manilow SUCKS!!! munchkin, your friends should be slapped for making you miss the concert. And your neighbors should be slapped as well. If you'd like some help with the slapdowns, just let me know. mal, good to hear from you but sorry to hear that the son's friend is doing so poorly. deb, welcome back! Sounds like you are doing fantastic!!! shelbi, sorry about the anti-depressant hunger thing. I would try a small fill. I think it's important to continue with meds if they're helping. green-hope you feel better soon. I hate summer colds. hate them, hate them, hate them. brandy - is the puppy home yet? is she darling? 80's bands: Talking Heads!! B-52s, Berlin, Thompson Twins, Tears for Fears, and let's never forget: PRINCE!!!! Saw him in London last year . . . . oh, my. Sexy sexy little man.
  8. Oh my goodness!!! Well, you definitely need a puppy. Little Hannah Banana in kindergarten. She'll be just fine.
  9. Well, we're off to our tree house for the weekend. I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend filled with weight loss success and other good stuff. Brandy, have fun with that new baby. You could get one of those doggie purses and carry her around with you! That would be so cute!!!
  10. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! OMG!!!! So so so cute. A pocket sized puppy! YAY!! I'm going to vote for Snickers. She just looks like she should be named Snickers. Umm, hello. 2 lbs. is great.
  11. Well, that seems like good news Lap. Backs are such tricky things . . . I'm glad there is nothing blown. I'll bet the PT will help a lot.
  12. Are you feeling okay after your accident? I've been to the top of some of our 12,000' peaks (by TRAM, not by FOOT!) and I can definitely feel the lack of oxygen. We made the mistake of taking some Oregonian friends (from sea level) up there and they all got elevation sickness. Oops.
  13. Well, I think being a good listener is a rather important skill for a therapist, yes? I hope it helped and I urge you to find someone who is a better fit. And, yes, Mini and Munchkin would be adorable names for puppies!!!
  14. Sending good surgery vibes to Deb . . . . . Make room folks! Another bandster is joining us today!!
  15. Geez, I forgot to ever respond about Starbucks! Heck yeah, if that's what you want to do, go for it!
  16. Lotza, don't be ashamed. I think that it is sooooo common to gain a little during the time right before your first fill. Yes, the fill should help a great deal. And I'll let you know how things go with the SLC guy. I know what you mean about the planes, shuttles, waiting room thing.
  17. dee, please check in with us after your therapy appointment and let us know how you're doing.
  18. Heehee. Well, my paleness is marred by my gazillion and a half freckles. I am covered - well, except for the acres and acres of pearly white skin on my tummy and ass!!!
  19. MacDonald. The other side of my family is Icelandic. So, yes, I am one pale person who really dislikes the heat!!!
  20. YEP!!! Everybody sing along: Dee is our sunshine Our only sunshine She makes us happy When skies are gray She'll never know, dear How much we love her We need to hear from our Dee Every day.
  21. Well, they're just so freakin' cute even with weird things coming out of their butts. That's so funny that Reilly eats your pillow when he's mad. What a goof ball.
  22. Munchkin, I'm Scottish too! We visited last year. It was so awesome to walk around and see lots of people who look like me!!! LOVED Edinburgh. Coolest city ever. Hotmomma you sound like you're buried. But don't knock the 1 lb loss. It's soooo much better than the alternative. And you're lookin' so hot you don't need to stress about it.
  23. When Keeley was a little one she ate about half of one of my long skirts. Gee, it was fun for her when it came out the other end, let me tell you! One of my kitties is obsessed with eating ribbon. She had been moping around the house for a few days (this was a few years ago) when I saw something bright red on her bottom. At first I thought it was blood and was terrified! Then I realized it was the end of a piece of ribbon. We took her to the vet who pulled out 3 feet of Christmas ribbon. Egads!!! So far the only thing Gracie May eats that she shouldn't is Keeley's poop. It's so disgusting. She threw up poop scented vomit all over her crib the other night. BLECH! Why do we love these little fur people so much????
