  1. I was denied as well at first, because of incorrect doctor paperwork/notes. They resubmitted, and after 2 weeks I was approved. My program even has specific workers in charge of insurance submission! Don’t lose hope they’ll just file an appeal. I’ve been told that my insurance company is the worst for denial (A name found at the very beginning of the alphabet).
  2. Went soooo smoothly. No pain at all if I’m honest, and walking after was a breeze. Hope yours goes as well as mine!
  3. I’m sitting in my hospital room right now (day after roux en y surgery) and I’ve had absolutely no pain since I came out of surgery. Just wondered if anyone else experienced this? All the reading I did said most people were in excruciating pain so I’m surprised by this. Not even much “discomfort” from incision sites or gas either. If I didn’t have holes in my stomach I wouldn’t have believed I had surgery.
  4. Hi, I’m new here...my surgery is scheduled for this Monday, Nov 5
