I don’t take many pics of myself but over lost 118 pounds in a year. The first pic is a week or so after surgery and the second is a few weeks ago. It’s changed my life.

10 weeks post VSG Down 65 lbs. 45 to goal. Best part...down to one blood pressure med (previously taking 7 meds)

Still a struggle healing, but the results are remarkable. 7 months yesterday; gastric bypass in Tijuana, Mexico. Started out size 24 at 279 lbs, now wear a size 12 weighting 181 lbs.

Seeing my vagina so when I'm shaving I don't shave my nails. I've done that so many times. It's not so bad when I have acrylics on but man does it hurt when I don't have them done.

I am three months (and some change) out from VSG (very super great) surgery and and down 75 pounds from when I started my pre-op nutrition counseling (55 since surgery on 7/23/18). I have had no complications and absolutely love saving money and anxiety and fretting over whether or not my dinner will be “enough.” I can’t believe how many decisions I let food make for me. I loved you, binge eating, but thank u, next! Here’s the progress so far!

Dang, I just found out that due to an issue with the OR, my surgery is being pushed back a week. I was already well into my liquid diet phase ? Oh well, still on its way, I just have to wait a little longer. My new surgery date is Nov. 13th. On the plus side, my insurance already approved my VSG, and I only needed to pay $300 for the whole thing. So I'm definitely feeling relieved.

Today’s the day! On the way to the hospital. Praying all goes well. This board has been a safe haven for me leading up to this day. Best wishes to you all.
