Hachidori got a reaction from Sigi42 in GALS who started their journey over 300 lb+<br /> +What a great spot, so glad to find this thread!
I had my sleeve 9/26 at 352 - no loss during the preop phase bc I have (had?) huperinsulinemia and nothing would budge. The sleeve is supposed to correct that, and I sure pray that’s true. So far down about 26 lbs but 17 of that was week 1, so I feel like the jury is still out.
I’m 5’ nothing with hEDS and arthritis, peri-menopausal at 47. If I can get below 300 I think I can do more working out. -

Hachidori got a reaction from Liz The New Me in *** September 2018 Sleevers ***Hey, y'all! I'm a 9/26 surgery date, too! Just found this forum and reading like crazy ,wondering if what I am seeing is "normal" (if there's any such thing). I lost about 17 lbs right away, since then I've been creeeeeeping down and usually go three or four days between seeing any change on the scale. Super frustrating, TBH, and I can't do a lot exercise-wise until I get the first 50 off. I was all excited when the first 25 flew off, but now... not so much. Ack.

Incredible! You are my inspiration for sure! -
That’s amazing! Congrats! ?? -
For some reason, the app won’t let me quote...
Just wanted to say that I am inspired by all of you ladies and glad to see you here. It’s good to know you’re not alone. My starting weight is about 240 pounds above normal BMI, but I’m not sure how realistic it is to think I would lose that I am down 106 pounds at just about 3 weeks post op. I am feeling a little more at ease with my body—I can fit more easily in certain chairs, for example, and my mobility is a lot better. At 5 feet even and 362 pounds, I could barely walk a block, and I did 4 miles on the treadmill yesterday. I very much hope this can continue and I get back pieces of my life I worried we’re lost forever.
