  5. I will be 6 months on 4/18. I have been at a stall for 2 months but it finally broke over this weekend. I was sleeved at 295 and this morning I am 230. I am super happy with the 65 pound weight loss since the surgery and 91 pounds all together. I was on 4 blood pressure meds before surgery, I am down to 2 and they are weaning me off of one them so I soon will be down to 1 and I am no longer pre-diabetic and my cholesterol is 140 now. It was 260 before surgery. Yes the hair loss sucks but it’s better than the alternative if I didn’t get the surgery.
  6. Happy Birthday! Mine is on Sunday the 11th. I had ricotta cheese, butternut squash soup, mashed up avocado, yogurt and cream of potato soup. It has all stayed down so far I am just starting week 2 of my pureed foods.
  7. I think everyone is a little different. I was planning on two weeks but I had my first post op check up today and the decision was made to keep me out of work for at least 3 more weeks. I have high blood pressure and am on medication for it and my blood pressure has not been stable since the surgery so they don’t want me driving or working until it becomes more stable.
  8. My surgery was on October 18th. I am 3 days post op and feeling excited about the future. Still have gas pains but those are getting better. Just dealing with the caffeine withdrawal headaches ?
