KayKels got a reaction from CrankyMagpie in October 2018 SleeversThank you so much! -
KayKels reacted to CrankyMagpie in October 2018 SleeversMy doctor let me have pills right away (Prilosec and Actigal), and since Zyrtec comes in very small pills, I would just take it like normal. Or if you're super worried about a pill, Claritin comes in a dissolve-in-your-mouth form, and that's what I've been using.

KayKels got a reaction from laughinglaurie1@yahoo.com in October 2018 SleeversI was sleeved 10/2 and Work actually helped me to feel more human again. My brain became focused on other things rather then drinking, eating, etc. it gave me the mental boost I needed because I to felt withdrawn at times. Stay positive I promise it all gets easier! :) -

KayKels reacted to cateckert in October 2018 SleeversI was sleeved on October 30th, and this message board has really helped me too. I have felt alone too, everything revolves around food! My family was watching a movie and they were eating pizza, and I had to leave. When you are feeling alone get on here and read, text and then you won’t feel so alone. -

KayKels reacted to relaxrelaterelease in October 2018 SleeversToday’s the day! On the way to the hospital. Praying all goes well. This board has been a safe haven for me leading up to this day. Best wishes to you all.

KayKels reacted to Deepseamariner in October 2018 SleeversI had a vsg done 10/15, started out at 389, weighed this morning, fully dressed 339.
Only complication was a go round with gout. I think the dehydration post op a few days triggered it. A round of steroids and Percocet and I was good as new in a few days. No dumping, no hunger, bp feels down.
Went out to the moose lodge last night and forgot to wear a belt, my shorts kept slipping off my ass night. (No no drinking other than a unsweet tea). It’s funny because I wore the same shorts the day of surgery and they were snug on my hips. Good problem to have I guess.
2 week post op dr visit is Tuesday... I’m ready to get back to work.

KayKels reacted to OriginalGaPeach in October 2018 SleeversHello everyone, this is my first post!
I'm thrilled to have found this website; I just had my Sleeve done on October 17th. I am thankful that I truly have only had some soreness and gas pains these past few weeks. I am following my doctors rules along with listening to my body for a change.[emoji2] [emoji3]
