  1. I had my gall bladder removed and then had band surgery about a month later. I was totally ready. Of course, the gall bladder surgery was a piece of cake. I came home from the hospital and did three loads of laundry. The band surgery, however, was not as easy but it was still VERY tolerable. Day #3 band post-op was probably my worst day but I was determined to make myself get up and move around. Was feeling well enough to get out for a while on Day #5 (although I tired easily). In hindsight, the recovery was relatively quick and I was back to work the next week. Hope this helps!
