    The first few weeks post op I was in alot of pain and also not in the best mood. I had a drain placed so I had to nurse that for about 10 bdays before it was removed. I started to feel better and like normal around 1 month post op. I think pain can colour your experience greatly.
    I ate very little and only the items allowed, I wasn't that interested in the foods in the weird phases, when I got back to regular foods (final phase) I was more hopeful and cooked the things I liked but made them the healthiest versions possible. Game changer for me.
    Try to avoid breaking the protocol of your diet, instead ask your team if you can excelerate the stages. If not take it for what it's worth and soon enough you will be back to whole foods and feeling better.
