  1. My taste buds have changed when it comes to sweets. I used to love sweet things, not anymore. I dont even put sweetener in my coffee anymore. If I had to lose the taste for something, I am glad this was it.
  2. I was sleaved on the 29th also. So you are not alone! This message board has been a real life saver. My doctor prescribed an anti-nauseous medication. I only had to take it twice, but it really helped.
  3. My doctor had me start taking them before the surgery and continue them right though recovery. I take the gummies. If you check them well, they become liquid and go down pretty well.
  4. Your right. This is what I need. Just counted and I take 15 different medications, I'm hoping to cut that list in half. I'm anxious and excited. we have this!
  5. I'm tomorrow also! I'm holding a good thought for all of us October 2018's
  6. 115 lbs and you are 5'1"? That sounds crazy. I'm shorter than you (4'11") and my surgeon made my goal 120 lbs. I'm also having surgery on the 29th

  8. I'm glad to hear you are doing ok without the NSAIDS. Gives me hope! I'm holding a good thought for your speedy recovery!
  9. I will have my surgery on the 29th and have to stop taking Aleve on monday. I take 880mg and am worried about dealing with my arthritis and fibromyalgia pain without it.
  10. Congratulations! That is wonderful!
  11. Welcome, I'm on the 29th also!
  12. Good luck....I'm holding a good thought!
  13. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer. So, I apologize for the repeat. But how do you update your profile?
  14. I just had my first, and hopefully last, pre-surgery nightmare. In it, I had my surgery, but it didn't work. I was eating everything in sight, but was starving. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what was behind it, but it really rattled me. It reminded of all of those bad dreams I would have when I was dieting. Breaking my diet and eating non-stop. Has anyone else had bad dreams prior to surgery?
  15. I feel kind of bad sharing this, but I only have to do a one day pre-op.
  16. Its on the schedule for the 29th!
  17. Good luck to everyone scheduled for October!
  18. I'm also scheduled for the 29th. I am surprised that I am not worried about the surgery. Looking forward to it. What I am worried about is the recovery. Going through the different stages of re-introducing foods to my diet.
  19. I am having my sleeve on the 29th. My doctor told me to start taking the vitamins now. They are D, B1,B3,B6,B12, and a Multi Vit. I use the gummie ones.
  20. I'm so sorry for the delay. It must be frustrating. I'm holding a good thought for pulmonary clearance.
  21. Keeping you in my prayers!
  22. Mine is Oct 29th. I am so ready to do this!
