  1. So I am now 11 days out from surgery.....l have had few issues since my sleeve. I do get tired but that’s because I am so little food. Mostly clear liquids but I won’t lie, I have a taste of some light eggs and singlets of protein here and there. I do get hungry but only at dinner and lunch time. I’m being careful not to push anything that would put my sleeve at risk. Having said that I’m looking forward to full liquids, wed. And mushed food next week..... I am getting in three shakes per day and I have bought premier proteins protein water (coconut and pineapple). It’s very good and meets protein minimum requirement of 15 grams..... highly recommend it!
  2. Yes everyone one day at a time it will be much better soon.... soooo sick of the shake...lol
  3. So my operation was Wed. The 5th. I was in the hospital for two days but everything went very smoothly. I give thanks to Dr Tishler, the surgery staff and everyone at Hartford Hospital for making my time there very easy. They are great!!! I am back in the shake regimen and feeling pretty well. I have some nerve damage from the iv line that gives sharp pains up my left arm but my scars are healing nicely. I never had the nausea or upset stomach so I consider myself lucky. Had some cramping for the first two days but that has seemed to dissipate as well. The best part of this operation was the losing 5-6 diabetes meds, and high blood pressure medication. I am currently on only one shot a day and couple of other pills so that is a huuuuge improvement. How are the other 9/5 doing???
  4. Hi Rob from CT here. Looking for some fellow sleeve pals who are scheduled for next week surgery. Mine is Sept. 5th. Last preop appt on Wed. Of this week went well, no issues. Getting pretty sick of starvation diet, but I am down 34 lbs since May and 15 since the liquid diet began. I won’t lie I haven’t been perfect but I hope good enough. Getting really nervous in this time leading up to surgery. Last day at work before adventure begins... here’s to a new life !!!
  5. I just have the pre-op doctor appt tomorrow and then I’m a go for9/5 as well. I hope the 34lbs I lost since April will be enough for the doc to see.
