Now I am able to get a little fluid down but have the worst case of heartburn. Has anyone else had this?

Hey there, Dr. K says that i have swelling around the band site and only time will heal it. I have to go to the hospital to get an IV because the swelling is causing an obstruction and I cant keep anything down. Girl, all I can say is, really think about this. I have been in hell for the last two days and am starting to regret this. This is a life long procedure and nothing comes without complications. Thanks for checking on me and keep in touch..

Hi all, I was banded yesterday and I have been trowing up uncontrollably. I cant even keep my saliva down. Had an upper GI done today and there is swelling on my stomach at the band site. Anyone have this happen. I am scared because they say to keep hydrated. Help.
