  1. My father was sleeved a few years ago and he is now 70. He able to move around more than he was. I was sleeved this past Monday 1/7. Keep your chin up. I find when my spouse may not be giving me the greatest motivation for what I have done this far I go on this to look for inspiration. My HW was 358, SW 302, CW 298
  2. Had my surgery on Monday, when I came to didn’t know what I had on right away but found the stomach binder hurt but I managed to keep it on for most of my stay to help keep swelling down. Did find more comfort when I did take it off middle Tuesday night
  3. Good luck. Find a few flavors you like for the protein drinks to mix it up is my best advice. It’s not to bad thou. I was on 12 pre-op liquid diet too. I, like Abbey M, and few other have surgery in morning.

  9. Today is my 3rd day of pre-op liquid diet. Ready to see the weight to come off.
  10. I got put on a laxative bc of constipation as I started to add in the meal replacement drinks such as premier protein and Bariatric Fusion. That was on 12/17.
  11. My spouse is the same way. Keeps asking me if I’m going to leave when I lose the weight.
  12. My surgeon has prescribed me meds to help keep me regular for the consitaption
  13. Ok I got question for everyone but I understand if no one responses due to its person. While introducing the protein drinks into your pre-pre-op diet has anyone found themselves having difficulty Bowel Movements?
  14. My pre-op is all liquid. That’s based on my BMI from my last weigh in

  16. Just got approval from my insurance company on Friday. Now just got to schedule surgery. Dr office said it will be beginning of January once insurance gives them the okay. It sucks still not having set date for sure

  18. So I heard from my insurance company by phone on 12/7 that I approved for my sleeve. Doctors office said they were still waiting to hear from them. Once they do I can set set an official surgery date. Can’t wait.
  19. LBmom I got fingers crossed we both get approved in time to get surgery before the new year
  20. So my doctors office submitted everything to my insurance this week. Now the waiting game to hear back to schedule my last consult with dr and schedule surgery date. Excited yet nervous because it’s the waiting to set them up
  21. My surgeon requires 6 weigh-in over 6months and encourage to try getting close to 300lbs as I can by the 6th one. So I figure that will be roughly week after thanksgiving

  23. So u didn’t get a date till after your 6th weigh in roughly. I’m told I got to do 6 total. My 5th weigh-in is on 10/29
