What is the website address for the new TLBC for clients only? can't find it Thanks

I have trouble getting anything down in the morning and after my coffee I can eat anything I have 6cc in a 10cc band? Not sure what the problem is, hoping another fill will do the trick. Very disappointed with the whole process. Some days I feel like I should have just flushed a big chunk of my savings you know where.

Hi, I live 8/9 hours north from Toronto and my Dr here does all my fills and when he is away the nurse practitioner does my fills. I have been very lucky and I have not been charged for any fills. Most Dr's can handle problem,but I stayed in T.O for 1 week before coming north. Didn't have any problems and have not lost any weight since May??? Send me PM if you want more info. Mame

What a pain to get a fill ??? I went to my DR before I had my surgery and discussed what I was having done and asked him for his opinion. Then asked about doing my fills. He was very wiling to help me out and has been very supportive over the last 3 months, although I have not lost any weight. I am getting very frustrated.... he is there for me through it all. He doesn't charge me anything. I guess I got lucky with a good DR. Hope some of you bandsters find a great supportive Dr's to help you out.

Who can even get hold of anyone at TLBC to ask for support. Leave a message and they will return your call????? Can't get on the web site for info... was given the wrong pw.....still waiting for new one??? Was banded June 28 and not impressed with post- op service? There has been none. Lucky for me I have good contacts on this site for support and encouragement.

I have started my pre op diet.... what can I drink??? coffee, diet soda?? Did anyone from TLBC get to add anything to the diet.YUK! I don't like balsamic vinegar. I like cottage cheese even less. I am giving it my best shot with only 10 days until surgery. Would like any suggestions. Not sure how I'm going to get though this being so far from TO..thanks to this forum and so many thoughtful posts that keep me on track. Thanks

E.L I'm with you!! Lets be fair across the board.... and spending 40 years in a fat body is torture too. However a sex change is not a life or death medical problem??? Although some lap band surgeries are. I'm not happy with my present weight and I am paying to have this done. Sex change operations should be self pay too.

Thanks to all that responded to my need for more info at TLBC. Too many to contact everyone. Those that I spoken to have been very helpful and have cleared up many concerns. Anxiously waiting the big day. May 28. It really makes me feel comfortable knowing that you all were given excellent care at TLBC. Can't wait to start losing . Marilyn

Wow.. I have just made an appointment to have lap band surgery....I am really surprised to read the number of fills that are required to maintain weight loss??? Is this normal with all lapbanders??? How painful is it after surgery?

Hi, New to this forum. Have just set a date for May 28th. TLBC . Do any of you bandsters have your fills done by your family DR. I live 8 hours from TO and I really don't want to be running back and forth every month. Marilyn
