  9. I’m on my second day and I completely understand. It’s really hard and I’m already over these protein shakes. I would say find as many variation you can for the things you are allowed to have and take it hour by hour. Good luck ?
  10. My husband and I will being having gastric sleeve surgery on September 10th. My husband had an ivc filter placed on Friday, but he had a pulmonary embolism 12 years ago after a bad fall. Our surgeon wanted to be cautious and asked for him to get the filter because of his history with blood clots and his BMI is high. I wasn’t initially asked to get a filter, but at the last minute our surgeon asked me to get one placed too because of my BMI which is on the higher side too. Did anyone else have an ivc filter placed before surgery?

  24. We decided that we both were going to have the surgery, but we didn’t decide to do it together until I came across another couple that had done it on the same day. When we asked our surgeon he was completely fine with it
