  1. It doesn’t hurt, I have caught myself taking big gulps though from being thirsty while at work. Sometimes I feel those in my stomach and then I remember to do a few sips so I don’t over do it.
  2. My most difficult struggle still to this day (2 months post op) is getting in enough protein and fluid intake. It’s having to remind myself to sip every few minutes so that I get to my appropriate intake of at least 64 oz of fluid. I doubt I’ve ever reached my mark on both of these. I still try to get as much in as I can every day. Being that I work grave yard and a physical job, my routine for eating changes. Still not sure how to get enough protein in without getting tired of drinking so many protein shakes. I do need it though because I’m experiencing hair loss as expected. There are days I feel Ike I’m failing and who knows if I’m even on track?
