  1. @Ylime my surgery is August 7th and I am questioning everything also, I am like, if I can do this pre diet, why don’t I just do that instead of surgery, why am I doing this surgery when I can just eat this way, then I say, well why didn’t you eat this way before, if this was what I should do. So then I tell my self, surgery. I am also fearing the actual surgery, blood clots, everything. So I think it’s normal if we both are experiencing the same thing.?
  2. It will go away the headache and then you will feel great. Hang in there!
  3. I didn’t rent a car this trip because the trip is so short so the walking distance grocery market had not much in the fat free department
  4. My surgery is August 7, I was doing so good on the pre op diet, mine was 2 weeks, shrink the liver. I went out of town this weekend by plane, and could not bring my protein shakes on plane. I messed up at dinner, I am realizing how hard it is to plan if you go away. I do great at home. I am even more nervous now, can I do this? It’s not about the eating it’s the planning. Is it because I am new to having to plan? This will be the new way.
  5. Glad to hear it went well.
  6. Thanks for the update. Good to know.
  7. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it, we are the same height. How did your surgery go?
  8. Just curious why you want to go from sleeve to bypass, I am deciding which one to have, I initially went in for sleeve after talking to surgeon and about my body the bypass sounded like it would be for me, now that I have a date I am thinking which one should I do. Any advice would be helpful.
  9. I have met with the surgeon from the very start, I went in for the sleeve and then through out discussion ended up with a surgery soon for the bypass, I just think the bypass is more intense as far as surgery goes, anyone else feel a certain way about either, opinions would be great!
  10. Thanks, I am not on liquid yet, just a high protein, no sugar then 3 days before surgery, a liquid only. I am not hungry but just feel like I cannot leave the house because of eating and planning, I think thats where my nerves are kicking in.That this will be the new norm planning, lol. I am getting gastric but I still go back and forth with sleeve, such a hard choice.
  11. Hi I am new, I have a surgery date for Aug 7th, just got my approval the other day, now I am questioning everything, is that normal? Is it nerves?
