  4. After having baby #3 13 months after baby #2. I got on the Depo shot and my weight never went down. I was at 180. I stayed the same after baby #4 and #5. Then I slowly started gaining weight. I got up to 265. Had surgery about 12 weeks ago. I'm down to 220. That would never have happened with out surgery. I'm going to the gym now too! Never would have been motivated to go to the gym before, especially at that weight.

  17. I think saying you're having surgery is enough. No one needs to know what kind or why. If they check on you it's because they care. Most people have surgery because something is wrong, so just say, "I'm feeling better. Thank you." I don't know that most people will say, why what's wrong with you? They will probably just ask, are you okay? "I will be!" Just my opinion. I didn't tell anyone either, but I had people ask if I was ok or feeling better after.

  22. I had it on my liquid diet phases. Enjoy it while it lasts, because I'm at 6weeks post op and pray for a bm.
  23. I got the okay from my doctor to start the gym. My surgery was 11/26. I haven't yet, but I've been walking and doing a lot of upper body work.
  24. I will join when it is private. No one knows I had surgery and don't want to spill the Beans on Facebook
  25. What is the name of the page? I can ask to join.
  26. Is the group private? I'd like to join but I don't like every one on fb knowing my business.
  27. I can't not wait until I can have a salad. I've been craving one since the preop liquid diet phase!!!
  28. My kids and my husband and one friend know. My son told his fiancee. That's it. Too many judgmental people in my life. Everyone has been trying to talk me into doing keto, not knowing I've done the surgery. It bothers me that people are trying to push me into it. Plus I'm so emotional post op. I've lost nearly 30 lbs in a month and a half and I feel like them pushing me means I haven't lost fast enough for them. So if I tell them I've had the surgery what will they think? That I can't do anything right? No thank you. I'll keep it to myself.
  29. You look friggin adorable.
  30. I heard about changes in hormones before I had the surgery. You guys, this is no friggin joke. I am so emotional!!! I cry at everything. Happy, sad.... Doesn't matter. I'm a blubbering fool! I'm only a month out. Please tell me this doesn't last.
  31. Maybe a NSJM... Non scale joyous mortification. You poor thing. On the other hand, YAY!!!! Thank goodness you had on pantaloons.
