  1.    MeanSleevedMachine reacted to a post in a topic: 61 lbs in 6 weeks!
  2. I had my procedure on June 29th and would give my recovery a 1. I had my drain taken out prior to going home the next day. I did not need any other pain medication but a Tylenol twice a day. I slept a lot the first 48 hours but did chores, etc with little discomfort outside of left shoulder pain from the gas used for the procedure. Surgery on a Friday and back to work on a Thursday (office work). Energy coming back too.
  3. Please know that what you're feeling is normal. I was anxious up to the day of my procedure on June 29th. It was quick - 30-40 minutes and after a brief recovery taken to my room - you will sleep a lot. What ever pain there is is well managed and I truly only had pain in left shoulder from the gas used for the procedure. Went home the next day and only needed Tylenol for whatever discomfort I had. You will be well take care and confident you will be glad you did it.
  4. Thank you for sharing! You are an inspiration and love your motivation. I am a 10 days out and feel great but need to incorporate more exercise into my day.
  5. I am so impressed with your 61 lbs. loss and do understand the frustration of losing little to no weight when you're trying so hard. Allow yourself a break from the anxiety and frustration and focus on your happiness and health. Get out and walk (sunshine) , spend time with friends, doing something different - yoga, Pilates, bicycling, etc. This frustration will pass and the weight will continue to come off without falling into old habits. Be kind to yourself and let the healthy changes you've made work, no matter how slow at times - you are worth it!
