  1. Thank you for adding your helpful comments and congratulations on your surgery and weight loss success! The nutritionist told him that he needs to introduce snacking and take in more calories. It seems so counter intuitive to add more calories and this seems like such a different balance and science for everyone. Wishing you continued health and success!
  2. Thank you for your reply. He has lost about 40 pounds total from pre-op to post-op. The nutritionist suggested his body may be in a protective type mode and suggested to up his calorie intact. He is about 150 pounds from goal weight total. He is drinking the recommended amount of water. Maybe increasing exercise or type would be helpful as he walking only.
  3. Hello all - Wondering this for a family member who is one month post sleeve surgery. They are concerned they have not lost weight in the past 2 weeks. He is on solid foods and trying to navigate getting in the protein requirements and is averaging about 700-800 calories daily. The nutritionist told them to increase calories to 1400 a day by snacking throughout the day. Has anyone had this experience? The advice to increase calories is confusing? Thank you!.
