I'm 6 weeks post-op, on Monday I will be 7 weeks post-op. My surgeon said I can start solids, I need ideas. I get scared to start them.

I'm doing better today. I felt the same way yesterday, fluids were making me gag . One thing is I get really nauseous but don't throw up. I just had some chamomile tea and luckily I was able to tolerate it today. I hope this day continues to go smoothly.

That's good. That's 10:30 am my time. I don't have my time yet hope I get it tomorrow.

That's good to hear and it's going be a big change. Tomorrow I have my pre-op appointment, hopefully I get my time of surgery. Do you know what time your surgery will be?

I reached out to my surgeon. I will only be on liquid diet pre-op for 24 hrs. My surgery in 9/24 I have been looking forward to getting this surgery for a long time, now that it's soo close I am so emotional, I go from being excited, to getting nervous, scared. I cried myself to sleep the other night. Has anyone become so emotional close to their surgery day?

How long before surgery do you start liquid diet? My surgery date is 9/24 but I have my pre-op appointment on 9/19. I have yet to start my liquid diet, they haven't told me to start it.
