Hey everyone. I just had my surgery on Monday the 23rd. It went well. I woke up with a lot of pain and apparently had a esophageal hernia they had repaired that I didn't know I had. So of course there was extra pain which gave me the instant regret. I have little to no pain right now just kind of sore. But I would like some words of encouragement. I just I'm kind of scared for what the future has in store if that makes sense. I don't know if anybody else feels like this but I would really appreciate some encouragement. I was supposed to have my surgery yesterday but it was rescheduled to July 23. Don't worry they let me know in advance. Started my liquid diet on the 9th. But it will go by fast. Looking forward to the surgery. Hopefully these 12 days go by fast! Sent from my LGMP260 using BariatricPal mobile app

Hey everyone I have a couple questions. So I'm about to have surgery on July 10th and I am about to start my 2-week liquid-only diet. Can anyone recommend a good protein flavorless whey powder. I've tasted the clear drinks and I really do not like them. If anybody has recommendations I would appreciate the information. Also was there a lot of discomfort after the surgery? Like are you able to do normal stuff everyday? I know that I can't be lifting anything. I was also wondering if there was another person who was pre opt that might have any kind of anxiety/nerves. I haven't gotten to that point yet but I'm pretty sure that I might as I get closer to my surgery date and wouldn't mind having somebody to talk to. Thanks in advance! Hello, my surgery is scheduled for july 10th. My doctor told me to start my liquid diet on Tuesday. I haven't felt nervous yet but maybe when I get closer to the surgery date. I know they gave me the orange mango one to taste and I did not like it that was from the premier brand. I have always been sensitive to flavored water. So I'm trying to fine a protein powder that's flavorless. I can probably look into the protein20. I haven't heard of that one but I can try it. Sent from my LGMP260 using BariatricPal mobile app

Hey everyone. I was wondering if anybody can recommend a powder whey protein flavorless supplement instead of the clear drinks that were supposed to drink. I tried those things and they were nasty to me at least. I know that I was told you a lot of chicken broth and stuff like that but I know I'm supposed to at least get a hundred grams of protein which is what my dietitian wants. I have already got approved when my psych evaluation and my surgery is scheduled for July 10th. I'm about to start my liquid diet on the 26th and I'm just needing some advice.
