  1. Original surgery was 5 plus years ago. Doing fine and have gained about 12 pounds.......which doesn't worry me. I have had knee problems and replacements on both knees. Three months ago I had a lot of scar tissue remove from one knee. I was in quite a bit of pain prior to the surgery and now the pain is at the same level as before. I've been taken pain pills for a year.....not a lot. But still the same I've taken them. Does anyone know of medication that can help with the pain that isn't addicting? I don't want to take the NSAID's and tylenol doesn't work.
