  1. Thanks guys! I’ll play around with the type of drink and the temperature of it to see if that helps.
  2. I had gastric bypass on Monday. Everything went well, I was able to come home on Wednesday. Thursday, I started having uncontrollable bowel movements. Basically every sip of fluid or protein drink just went right through me. Called the hospital and got a script for some meds because they said basically the antibiotics they gave me in the hospital had killed the good bacteria in my gut too. Friday morning went into the surgeon’s office and they said everything looked good and just to continue the meds they called in (I also added some probiotics to help). This evening (Friday), I started throwing up as well. Only thing I’ve had in over 24 hours is watered down apple juice. Talked to my surgeon tonight and he said to try lukewarm water, and if not to come into the hospital tomorrow. I’m taking zofran and Reglan for nausea. Anybody have any tips on what/how to get more fluid to stay down while the other med does its job? Or an idea of sustenance cause I’ve only had a few sips of protein since Monday, and I’m feeling a little weak?
  3. Thanks @CyclicalLoser for the advice. It’s also nice to be reminded that I’m not the only one in this boat.
  4. So tomorrow is the big day. I’m really excited. I mean it’s been a long time coming. Haha. But I’ve also hit my freaking out day today. I’m not second guessing, just the anxiety mixed with the million what ifs. Any last minute advice?
