  1. I find that if I use a Sativa strain, I don't get the munchies as bad!
  2. I feel your pain. I got a new fancy scale a couple of months after surgery. The new scale weighs me 6 pounds heavier than my old scale! I then went around the house and grabbed things to weigh, 10 pounds of flour, rice, etc. The new scale was right.....dang it!
  3. My surgery date is also March 9th! Yep, nervous and excited to get it done.
  4. I am 64 and am in the process of converting from a Lap Band (10-28-08) to a Bypass. The Lap Band was removed the middle of August, the Bypass has now been scheduled for March 9, 2021. Nervous and excited. I lost 160 pounds with the Lap Band, but then started to have issues. I had some fluid removed, but the Band still made it so I couldn't eat vegetables or fruit. Yes, I learned to eat around it! New chapter starts 3-9-21
  5. Barb- They basically said that they would be liable if something happened after they give me a fill. I will be contacting Franciscan Center in Federal Way tomorrow . Thank you so much - I really appreciate it!
  6. I need help getting a fill in and around Olympia WA. I was just informed that Kaiser (formally Group Health) will no longer support the Lap Band. So those who have a Lap Band installed by them - you are basically left out in the cold without any support. They will take out your fill - but not add any. If you want to have another procedure, you have to jump through all the hoops AGAIN. I had 1 cc removed when I had a stomach bug - thinking, no problem I'll get it put back in after I recover. Fast forward 6 very long months, my regular Dr. at Kaiser finally got a response from the Bariatric Center stating they no longer support the band. My band works great - no issues- I just need to have 1 cc put back in. Help....
