  1. Hi, new to this site and only 6 days post op. I went to Mexico for surgery. Everything went well however I am slightly concerned as I have prepped myself for small sips and having so much fluid in a time period. However I had a moment when I was so thirsty I didn’t think and quzzled some water. Once I noticed I was half a water bottle down I was expecting something to happen, discomfort, vomiting or something. But I had nothing. Does this seem off to anyone. Is it normal to be only a week out and able to drink as normal. I am going to attempt soft food today. What if I eat and don’t feel the fullness? Should I be measuring my fluids and food out and only haveing that at certain time periods? Just nothing like I mentally prepared myself for....
